Client work
I was tasked by Emma Winder to create a teaser animation for her collaboration with Naked Smoothies. I was asked to create:
- Short example animation
- Storyboard for this and longer animation idea
- Smoothie and Emma Character Design
- Background Design Initial Experiments
Above is the example animation and storyboard. This was designed to be in the corner of a live video so I have animated it to the part of the screen it should be placed, as requested. Otherwise I would have animated it central to the screen to ensure no cut offs. Below on the left is the initial designs for key frames and to the right is an example of the storyboard to the longer animation idea.
Above is the inital character designs, the brief was clear on what both Emma and the smoothie should look like. For Emma I was referencing a photo provided but for the smoothie gave some alternate ideas for accessorising.

To the right are some background and key frame ideas which I worked on, the first one based on the brief would have the two characters interacting on top.

The project completed at the short animated idea, the longer storyline not coming to fruition. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and a lot of fun.
